Open Bilibili (bilibili.com or bilibili.tv for the international version) and find the video you want. The URL contains either BV1xxxxxx (newer videos) or AV170001 (older videos) — both are valid Bilibili identifiers and both work in rawlink.

02 Copy the video URL

What Are BV and AV Links on Bilibili?
Bilibili identifies every video by a unique ID. The newer system uses BV identifiers (e.g. BV1xx411c7m4 — 12 characters starting with BV), introduced in 2020 to make scraping harder. Older videos still use AV identifiers (e.g. AV170001 — a number). Both formats are valid Bilibili URLs and both paste-and-go in rawlink. If you have just the numeric AV part, prepend bilibili.com/video/av and it works. b23.tv short URLs from the mobile app are also supported — rawlink resolves them automatically. There's no difference in download quality between BV and AV URLs of the same video; they refer to the same source file.
Why Does 4K Bilibili Download Require Premium?
Bilibili stores 4K (2160p) and HDR variants of videos only behind their Premium membership tier (Bilibili 大会员 / Bigger Member). When you visit a Bilibili video without Premium, the player itself only offers up to 1080p — that's a source-side restriction enforced at Bilibili's CDN level. No third-party downloader, including rawlink, can bypass this. If you specifically need 4K Bilibili content, you'd need to subscribe to Bilibili Premium and download through their official app (which they allow for Premium subscribers). For most uses — language learning, anime watching, casual video saves — the free 1080p tier is more than sufficient.
Can I Download Bilibili from Outside Mainland China?
Yes for most public videos, with two caveats. First, the bilibili.com main site sometimes restricts videos to mainland China IPs — these show a 'this video is region-locked' message in the player. Second, the international bilibili.tv site has a smaller catalog but no region restrictions. rawlink can only access videos that Bilibili's CDN serves to your IP — for region-locked videos, the CDN refuses the request itself, and there's no way around that without a VPN to a Chinese server.
